In the context of the Government's priority regarding decentralization and ensuring of local autonomy, the Parity Commission on decentralization launches the process of public consultations on the draft of National Decentralization Strategy throughout the Republic of Moldova.
The draft of the National Decentralization Strategy has been developed within the Working Groups on decentralization, created by the Parity Commission, with the support of the development partners, representatives of central and local public administration, civil society, academia and scientific community.
The purpose of consultations is to improve the draft Decentralization Strategy, so that the final document would represent a strengthened vision, a consensus of the governmental authorities, NGOs and all members of the society.
All suggestions and recommendations for improving the document are welcome and can be submitted to the Division for decentralization policies of the State Chancellery.
